Stay in a Traditional Irish B&B - Anam Cara B&B is an Irish family run Guesthouse conveniently located adjacent to Cork City Centre and opposite Jurys Hotel on the Western Road side of the City, close to UCC and the Honan Chapel.

Anam Cara B&B has been newly refurbished through out in July 2010 . We are in the B&B district of Cork City. Situated on Corks Western Road opposite River Lee Hotel (formerly Jury's Hotel) and adjacent to UCC.

Our rooms are modern and comfortable, and decorated to a very high standard. All rooms are en-suite with Hair dryer, toileteries, television, Tea & Coffee Facilities. Wireless broadband and Parking are Free of charge for our guests.

For things to do and see in our area or for those guests travelling to Cork for weddings, we are an ideal and central location. A perfect base for many of the surrounding hotels and for services being held in the City's Churches and the Honan Chapel. There are lots of Cultural and music festivals in Cork throughout the year. For those interested in Golf some of the finest courses are in the area. Nearby attractions to name a few would be :- the world famous Blarney Stone, Cork City Gaol, Cobh Heritage Centre, Bells of Shandon, the Old English Market, St. Finbars Cathedral, Mardyke Walk and lots more.

We are five minutes walk from the City Centre and only 10 minutes walk from the Bus Station and 10 minutes drive(10km) from Cork Airport. We are adjacent to Washington street, one of Corks most exciting areas with its restaurants bars and theaters, including the Kino and Granary . The Gate Multiplex is also minutes walk.
